Origin was founded in 2002 and is located in the Belmont area on the edge of Belfast’s greenbelt. Our state of the art clinic and laboratories were designed to offer couples a full range of specialist infertility investigations and treatments, while our team of experienced fertility experts includes doctors, embryologists, specialist nurses and counsellors.
Just a few minutes drive from Belfast City Airport and less than two hours from Dublin, Origin regularly welcomes enquiries and patients from the Republic of Ireland and elsewhere in the UK.
Our aim is to provide you with a comprehensive and flexible service of the highest standard using the latest assisted conception techniques. We provide innovative solutions for reproductive problems in a caring and supportive environment. Your treatment is planned with you and your partner to suit your personal medical circumstances.
Origin is licensed and regulated by the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA), our success rates are consistently high and our dedicated team aims to give each couple the maximum chance of achieving a pregnancy.

We offer an initial semen analysis service at the Newry clinic and at the North West Independent Hospital, Ballykelly. This service is provided by senior embryologists/andrologists from Origin.
