The AMH test is an initial investigation blood test, usually used in conjunction with a scan. All patients who want to commence treatment with Origin will be required to have this test.
The AMH test is usually part of the consultation process or can be done as a one off test to test your ovarian reserve. Origin can only advise you of the result as part of the consultation process.
The blood test can be performed at any stage in the menstrual cycle. Please phone reception and our administration team can arrange an appointment on: 028 9076 1713.
A ‘normal’ AMH result is valid for two years. If you wish to discuss the benefits of AMH testing further please do not hesitate to contact a member of our clinical or nursing team
